Your product is working fine. I guess all of these years the vanilla was sufficient in higher doses to either slowly lower the potency of guaifenesin or slip in a bit too much salicylate. It's always possible that the maltodextrin somewhat affected potency after a few months. At any rate, removing those seems to have made a difference whatever the reason.

Very good results for IBS. Chronic IBS symptoms relieved. My constant joint pain, and achiness from Fibromyalgia is gone. I find it easy to avoid "sals" in products due to my allergies to most plants and foods- I had already omitted these from my cosmetics. Several people have asked me lately about where to get OTC Guaifenesin. I order mine on the Internet from Health Products Express. They have a wide variety of doses available. Since my dose is 800mg, the 400's are perfect for me, plus they are dye-free (I'm allergic to blue dye). Dave Rubitsky, the pharmacist, says that some timed-release products can fail to dissolve, build up in the system, and cause people to take higher than necessary doses. This may explain why some people find one brand of guai to be more potent than another. I also like to use the 400mg tablets which can be broken in half when I want to up my dose. I understand that Health Products Express also has some salicylate-free products. I'm trying to talk Dave into stocking Grace "Fibro-Smile" products.

I am a 41 year old woman that has had fibromyalgia for nearly twenty years. For most of my adult life this condition has continuously kept me searching for answers.
